Jin is the first member of BTS
to complete military service.
The 31-year-old's discharge was televised from a base in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi province.

Jin will celebrate his military discharge
at an event in Seoul on June 13.
He will perform and later hug 1,000 fans who were preselected by the group's label, Hybe.
The last four members of BTS began their military service in December 2023.
The band is expected to reunite in 2025
