9,000 troops from 20 NATO countries conducted extensive military exercises in the Baltic Sea region, with Sweden participating as a full NATO member for the first time.
Earlier this month, Putin warned the West that Moscow might supply arms to other countries capable of striking Western targets. This was a response to NATO countries providing Ukraine with long-range missiles used against Russian targets.
