HBO just dropped the intense and ominous first teaser trailer for 'The Last of Us' season two! The new footage continues the story of apocalypse survivors Pedro Pascal's Joel, Bella Ramsey's Ellie, and Joel's brother Tommy played by Gabriel Luna. It also introduces new cast members, including Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Danny Ramirez as Manny, Jeffrey Wright as Isaac and many others. Catherine O'Hara also guest stars this season.

Josh Brolin will not be starring in HBO's Green Lantern TV show, after all. Sources exclusively tell The Hollywood Reporter the actor has passed on an offer to star in 'Lanterns,' the DC Studios series based on the Green Lanterns superhero character. Brolin was eyed to play Hal Jordan, the cocky Green Lantern hero previously played by Ryan Reynolds in the 2011 'Green Lantern' movie.

Oscar and Emmy winning actress Maggie Smith known for her work in 'Harry Potter' and 'Downton Abbey,' has sadly died. She was 89. Smith died peacefully on Friday, September 17th per a statement released by her family, "It is with great sadness we have to announce the death of Dame Maggie Smith. She passed away peacefully in hospital early this morning, Friday 27th September. An intensely private person, she was with friends and family at the end. She leaves two sons and five loving grandchildren who are devastated by the loss of their extraordinary mother and grandmother."

A feature film about the life of Queen Latifah is in the works and Will Smith is producing it. The movie will be the first in a slate of independently financed hip-hop biopics hailing from Flavor Unit Entertainment, Westbrook Studios and Jesse Collins Entertainment. The film will follow the ascension of Latifah as the performer became a rapper, singer and actress who has won Emmy, Grammy and Golden Globe awards.
