A portion of Delhi airport's Terminal-1 roof collapsed during heavy rains early Friday, killing three and injuring six.

The incident occurred around 5 am, damaging cars in the pick-up and drop area.

Emergency services, including three fire-tenders, responded promptly.

Search operations are ongoing for potential trapped victims. The airport spokesperson confirmed the collapse of the canopy at the old Departure forecourt, stating that emergency personnel are providing assistance and medical aid to those affected.
