Growing up in New York City during the late 70s and early 80s was a unique adventure, a gritty reality that shaped many of us in profound ways.

As teenagers, my friends and I frequently ventured into Manhattan, driven by a desire to explore the city's underbelly.

We were clean kids, but the allure of the dark side was irresistible.
