India has unveiled the indigenous light tank 'Zorawar,' developed by L&T and DRDO, to enhance its defense capabilities in high-altitude regions.

The tank is designed for swift deployment and mobility, featuring AI, tactical drones, loitering munition, and amphibious capabilities.

It aims to counter Chinese deployments along the LAC and is set for further trials in desert and Ladakh terrains.

If successful, the tank could be inducted into the Indian Army by 2027.
