Once again, the MINI Lurauto dealership, with facilities in Noain (Navarra) and Oiartzun (Gipuzkoa), has organized the third consecutive edition of its emblematic San FerMINI running of the bulls.
This peculiar event took place last Sunday, June 30 at 7:00 in the morning, taking the new family and generation of MINIs to take the traditional route of the San FermĂn running of the bulls, from the Corrales de Santo Domingo, passing through the Town Hall, Mercaderes Street and the mythical Estafeta Street, to finish the peculiar running of the bulls in the CallejĂłn de la Plaza de Toros At 7 in the morning, all the San FermĂn and MINI enthusiasts joined the celebration and the participants came dressed in the typical attire, white pants and t-shirts, accompanied by the traditional gerriko and red “kerchief”, as a prelude to the running of the bulls.
With brave bulls that will begin next Sunday, July 7 at 8 in the morning.
Sustainability, cars and culture come together to star in this particular 'running of the bulls'.
An event held by MINI Spain and the Mini Lurauto dealership in Pamplona where some of the best-known crews in the Navarrese city participated.
This original initiative has already been organized twice, with the idea of ​​showing Mini's progress as a sustainable brand.
The 13 cars that have “raced” the running of the bulls, decorated especially for the event, are 100% electric and belong to the new MINI family, just released on the market.
Mini's electric 'bulls' have a 40.7 kWh battery that allows the Cooper SE to reach 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds.
In addition, they have a power of 184 HP and a range of 305 kilometers.
Inside, it stands out for its large 9.4-inch touch screen and round design with OLED technology that takes the place of the instrument panel, housing the Mini Operating System 9 system.
In addition, in the electric versions, the dashboard includes a two-color textile finish.
Made of recycled polyester with a knitting process specially developed within the commitment to sustainable materials in line with the current strategy of the BMW Group.
Like every year, the San FerMINI is renewed, and in this 2024 edition, the focus has been based on the motto BIG LOVE, in collaboration with the Navarra Hospitality Association, which has participated with 5 of the 13 MINIs in the running of the bulls.
