J&K Attack: Terrorists Attack Army Vehicle In Kashmir's Kathua, 4 Jawans Injured | Details

In a fresh wave of violence, armed terrorists attacked an Indian army vehicle in the Machedi area of Billawar in Kathua district, Jammu and Kashmir, on Monday.

According to initial reports, the terrorists fired upon the vehicle, prompting a swift retaliation from the soldiers, which led to an intense encounter.

Additional reinforcements have been rushed to the area to bolster security efforts.

This attack comes just a day after security forces successfully neutralized six terrorists in twin encounters in Kulgam.

"The bodies of two terrorists were recovered from the Modergam encounter site, while four bodies were recovered from the Chinnigam site on Sunday," officials informed PTI.
