Angry Mob Shows Up At A NYPD Station To Pummel A Man Who Killed A Woman Stuffed Into A Sleeping Bag

Posted • July 9, 2024: An angry mob of neighbors tried to pummel a person of interest in the homicide of a woman found stuffed in a sleeping bag as he was taken into custody on Monday, heart-pounding video shows.

Dozens of locals, including the 31-year-old victim’s distraught mother, swarmed the 55-year-old man the moment he was brought outside of the Straus Houses, a NYCHA complex, in Kips Bay on a stretcher, according to the video.

It appears one man landed at least one punch while others also attempted to carry out their own version of street justice.

The man, who was handcuffed to the stretcher, was taken away in an ambulance and later questioned by detectives in connection to the death of Yazmeen Williams, sources said.
