Boeing jet loses wheel during takeoff. Again.
Most of the Boeing 757 took off, but this wheel decided it was probably safer on the ground.
Considering Boeing’s recent track record, that’s not surprising.
A United Airlines flight from Los Angeles to Denver was the latest Boeing flight to suffer a diversity moment, after part of its landing gear fell off during takeoff.
The plane was able to land safely in Denver with the remaining wheels, and no injuries were reported either in the plane or the ground.
