Baby Echidna
A baby echidna is called a puggle.
Puggles are born after a short incubation period of about 10 days, and they are carried by their mother in a temporary pouch for the first two months until their spines start to emerge.
After that, the mother constructs a nursery burrow and places the puggle safely inside, returning only every two to six days to feed it.
