Gavin Plumb was found guilty of masterminding âgraphicâ plans to kidnap, rape and murder TV presenter Holly Willoughby. Mr Plumb developed an âobsessionâ with the star over a number of years and assembled an âabduction kitâ to help carry out his attack. Speaking after Plumb was convicted, Detective Chief Inspector Greg Wood said: âGavin Plumb is a dangerous, predatory individual who was intent on causing the most serious harm to his victim. Chelmsford Crown Court heard the 37-year-old security guard had previous convictions for offences against women.
Police seized handcuffs, rope and other items from the father-of-twoâs Essex home after he was arrested, having been tracked down by an undercover US police officer on a Kik messenger group called âAbduct Loversâ.

A man has appeared in court charged with two counts of murder after the discovery of human remains in suitcases in Bristol, and, at a flat in west London. 34-year-old Yostin Andres Mosquera appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates Court earlier today. Police have named the two victims as 62-year-old Albert Alfonso and 71 year old Paul Longworth who lived together at a flat in Shepherds Bush. The suspect had been staying with them.
