Jack Black Cancels Tenacious D Tour After Bandmate’s Trump Comments
Jack Black has canceled the remaining Tenacious D tour dates after his bandmate, Kyle Gass, made a controversial comment about an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump.
The incident occurred at a Sydney concert on July 14th when Gass, asked to make a wish with a cake, remarked, "Don’t miss Trump next time." This comment came shortly after Trump survived a shooting at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, and posted about the incident on Truth Social.
The remark quickly went viral, sparking a backlash.
In response, Black posted on Instagram, expressing his shock and disapproval of Gass's comment, stating he cannot continue the tour or any future creative plans.
He thanked fans for their support and understanding.
