PM: It is essential to work with our European partners
Sir Keir Starmer says the UK will not solve its problems if it does not have the "maturity and leadership" to extend "a hand to our European friends".
Speaking at a press conference at the end of the European Political Community summit, the prime minister says "it is not just a good idea to work with our partners, it's essential”.
Sir Keir also announces £84 million worth of new funding to tackle illegal migration for projects across Africa and the Middle East.
