Houthis Massive Retaliation Shakes Israel | Houthis Target Port Eilat After Yemen Port Bombed
The Yemeni armed forces have launched a series of attacks targeting Israel's southern port city of Eilat and an American-owned vessel in the Red Sea.
The operation comes in response to recent Israeli actions against Yemen.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Yemeni forces, confirmed that ballistic missiles were used in a specific military operation against key targets in the Eilat area, known as Umm al-Rashrash.
According to Saree, the operation successfully achieved its objectives.
The Yemeni forces also targeted the American ship "Pumba" with ballistic missiles.
Israel deploys troops to new security corridor across southern Gaza
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the new "Morag Corridor" on Wednesday, and suggested it would cut off the southern city of Rafah, which Israel had ordered evacuated, from the rest of Gaza.
