Following the tragic deaths of three UPSC aspirants in Delhi's Old Rajinder Nagar due to flooding in a coaching centre's basement, DCP Central M Harshavardhan has announced the arrest of five individuals, including the basement owners and a person involved in damaging the building’s gate.

Harshavardhan emphasized that no permission was granted for commercial activities in the basement and confirmed that the investigation is ongoing, with inquiries into the role of the MCD.

He urged protesting students to remain peaceful and assured that strict action is being taken.
