Former BBC newsreader Huw Edwards arrived at Westminster Magistrates' Court where he pleaded guilty to three criminal charges relating to illegal images of children found on WhatsApp.

The ex-News at Ten presenter was charged in June.

If convicted, he could face a maximum jail term of 10 years.
