Australia urges 'thousands' of citizens to leave Lebanon
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese urges citizens to leave Lebanon amid fears the war in Gaza could escalate into a region-wide conflict.
The warning came after Lebanon's Iran-backed Hezbollah group said that senior military commander Fuad Shukr was killed in an Israeli strike on a south Beirut building, alongside the killing of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.
