Southport attack: Rudakubana leaves court after being named
A 17-year-old charged with the murder of three girls in a knife attack at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class has departed from court, where a judge ruled he could be named.
Axel Rudakubana, from Banks in Lancashire, wore a grey tracksuit which he pulled up to cover much of his face when he appeared at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday morning.

The mother of seven-year-old Elsie Stancombe, who was one of three girls killed at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport, have said she would ātrade placesā with her daughter "any day" as she paid tribute to her. Elsie's mother, Jenni Stancombe, said, "If we had been there this wouldn't have happened".

In the heart of Philadelphia, particularly along Broad Street, supporters engaged in various acts of revelry, including climbing light poles and traffic lights. One individual was notably seen perched atop a traffic light at the intersection of Broad Street and Pine Street. The celebrations escalated as some fans vandalized a police van by jumping on it, while others ascended a garbage truck to continue their festivities.
