Venezuela’s opposition leader, Maria Corina Machado, called for worldwide demonstrations on Saturday, as she continues her efforts to force President Nicolas Maduro to negotiate and acknowledge defeat following on from July 28th Presidential elections.

Maduro was proclaimed as winner of the election by ruling party loyal Electoral Council, but the opposition presented thousands of vote tally sheets they claim it proofs their candidate, Edmundo Gonzalez, actually won by a landslide
