James Taylor, Mickey Guyton and Jason Isbell will perform on the opening night of the Democratic National Convention.
Convention officials confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that legendary singer-songwriter Taylor, country standout Guyton and folk and Americana star Isbell are confirmed to hit the stage at the United Center in Chicago to help kick off the four-day convention.
THR has learned that Taylor, a long-time Democrat and activist who campaigned for Biden and former President Barack Obama, will be the night's final performer.
The former first couple called on voters to embrace Kamala Harris in urgent messages to the Democratic National Convention that were by turns hopeful and ominous.
