Serbia inks €2.7bln deal with France for 12 Rafale fighter jets in move away from Russia
Serbia is formally seeking European Union membership, but under President Alexander Vučić's increasingly autocratic rule it has made little progress in the fields of rule of law and democratic reforms, which are the main preconditions for membership in the 27-nation bloc.
Three armed forces helicopters were working to control the blaze in Bosnia, while choppers from Serbia were said to be on their way on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the flames in Albania's Mali i Thatë or Dry Mountains, located along the eastern border with North Macedonia, have been burning for a week.
