Migrants clash with Moroccan police for third night in a row as they attempt to enter Ceuta
Riot police were deployed on the Moroccan side of the border with the Spanish Ceuta enclave, as migrants attempted to reach the city for the third night in a row.
The historic Russian training ship Kruzenshtern has made a stunning entrance into Morocco's port of Agadir, marking a highlight of its Great African Expedition. Arriving from Kaliningrad, the vessel is carrying 130 trainees from the Federal Agency for Fisheries (Rosrybolovstvo) on a mission spanning the coasts of 18 African countries. This grand voyage, which began in August 2024, combines maritime education with scientific exploration. The Kruzenshtern, a towering 1926-built sailboat and one of the world's largest, will host an open ship event and excursions during its Moroccan port visit, showcasing its storied past and ongoing maritime legacy.
