Lancia marks its official return to rallying with a special test at the Stellantis Proving Ground in Balocco.

Carlos Tavares, Stellantis CEO tested the new Ypsilon Rally4 HF on one of the most prestigious automotive development circuits.

Located in the Vercelli province, the Balocco complex spans over 80 kilometers of tracks and represents an excellence center for high-performance testing.

“Seeing Carlos Tavares driving the Ypsilon Rally4 HF was extraordinary,” said Luca Napolitano, Lancia CEO.

“The 212-hp turbocharged engine and the car’s precise engineering are the result of our team’s passion.

The Ypsilon Rally4 HF combines ambition with humility, reflecting our commitment to the Rally4 class, the heart of competition.

It’s just the beginning of an exciting journey.

Stay tuned on October 24-25 for more updates!” Lancia is preparing to write a new chapter with the introduction of the Ypsilon Rally4 HF and the new Ypsilon HF, both officially unveiled last May.

The Ypsilon Rally4 HF is designed for competition, with a 1.2 turbo three-cylinder engine developing 212 hp, and a 5-speed manual transmission with a mechanical limited-slip differential.

The front-wheel-drive configuration ensures agility and optimal performance, making it ideal for young drivers looking to break into the racing world.

The Ypsilon HF, on the other hand, is the high-performance road version of the brand’s first vehicle in its new era, powered by a 100% electric engine delivering 280 hp.

With an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds, the Ypsilon HF combines exceptional performance with a design inspired by Lancia’s most radical vehicles of the past, featuring a lowered chassis and widened track.

This version represents the brand’s renewed commitment to producing powerful and exciting cars that unite sustainability and innovation.
