As tensions rise, we delve into the implications of Putin's statements, the evolving military landscape, and the potential for a catastrophic confrontation.
Russia launched its first-ever intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) at Ukraine, targeting critical infrastructure in Dnipro. This unprecedented strike marks a significant escalation in the conflict, following Ukraine's recent attacks inside Russian territory using U.S. and British missiles. The long-range missile, capable of carrying nuclear warheads, heightens tensions and raises concerns about potential nuclear confrontation, with Putin's altered nuclear doctrine adding to the uncertainty.
