Drone footage highlighted the extent of the destruction between Ponneri and Kavarapettai railway stationsThankfully, all 1,360 passengers are safe, though 19 were injured, with 3-4 sustaining severe injuries.

Rescue operations were promptly initiated, and those injured were taken to hospitals.

The Chief Minister ordered immediate arrangements for food and accommodation.
