Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, and Niall Horan Speak Out After Liam Payne's Passing, Mitzi Gaynor Dead at 93, NFL St

One Direction band members pay tribute to Liam Payne on social media.

Shortly after the singer's untimely death, bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, and Niall Horan took to social media to share their grief, both individually and in a joint statement.

Together they wrote 'We're completely devastated by the news of Liam's passing.

In time, and when everyone is able to, there will be more to say.

But for now, we will take some time to grieve and process the loss of our brother, who we loved dearly.'

In an emotional post of his own, Tomlinson reached out a hand to Payne's 7-year-old son Bear, writing 'I will be the Uncle he needs in his life and tell him stories of how amazing his dad was.'

Malik shared memories of Payne's leadership in the band, writing 'I was always happy to know, no matter what happened on stage we could always rely on you to know which way to steer the ship next.'

Styles, along with the others, expressed his condolences towards Liam's family, saying 'My heart breaks for Karen, Geoff, Nicola, and Ruth, his son Bear, and all those around the world who knew and loved him, as I did.'

Horan was likely the last of the group to see Payne, after the late star attended his concert in Buenos Aires on October 2.

He reflected on their recent reunion in a statement posted earlier this morning, writing 'I sadly didn't know that after saying goodbye and hugging him that evening, I would be saying goodbye forever.'

South Pacific star Mitzi Gaynor dies at 93.

Best known for her iconic role as Nellie Forbush in 1958's South Pacific , Mitzi Gaynor was a star of both screen and stage.

She helped define Hollywood's 'Golden Age' of musicals, working with the likes of Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, and Gene Kelly throughout her career.

Aside from her role in South Pacific , which earned her a Golden Globe nomination for best actress, Gaynor appeared in other popular films such as 1952's We're Not Married!

And 1954's There's No Business Like Show Business.

She reportedly died of natural causes on Thursday morning, as revealed by managers Rene Reyes and Shane Rosamonda.

Former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler arrested for DUI and gun possession.

The former Chicago Bears star was taken into custody on Thursday evening according to police in Franklin, Tennessee but has since been released on $5,000 bond.

He is currently facing multiple charges, including a first offense DUI, possession of a handgun while under the influence, violation of implied consent, and failure to exercise due care.

Cutler played 12 total seasons with the NFL, starring on the Chicago Bears, the Miami Dolphins and the Denver Broncos throughout his career.

He officially retired from the league in 2017.
