2024 World Series kicks off tonight as the Yankees face the Dodgers in LA.

For the first time since 1981, fans from coast to coast are getting ready to experience the thrill of a Yankees/Dodgers World Series.

The two teams kick off the 7-game fall classic tonight in Los Angeles at Dodger Stadium.

The matchup sees some of the league's top sluggers facing off, including MLB home run leaders Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani, who have hit 58 and 54 long balls respectively this regular season alone.

This will be the 12th time the Yankees and the Dodgers have battled it out for the iconic Commissioner's Trophy in Major League Baseball history.

Fans can tune in tonight on Fox when the first pitch is thrown out at 8:08 PM ET.

Grammy award-winning singer and vocalist for the Love Boa t theme song Jack Jones dies at 86.

Best known for giving his voice to the iconic Love Boat theme song, singer Jack Jones' decades-long career in music cemented him as one of the greats.

Born into show business, his natural-born talent led him to release a multitude of hit songs, including his 1962 Grammy-winning recording of 'Lollipops and Roses,' 1963's 'Wives and Lovers,' and 1966's 'The Impossible Dream.'

Throughout his career, Jones earned himself 5 total Grammy nominations, taking home 2 awards.

He passed away on Wednesday following a two-year-long battle with leukemia.

His passing was confirmed by stepdaughter Nicole Whitty in a statement made to The Hollywood Reporter.
