Last night in the fifth and final game of what would have been a seven game series, the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the New York Yankees to earn their 8th championship win in franchise history.

This was the first World Series win for the Dodgers since their last title in 2020.

First baseman Freddie Freeman was named the series MVP, unsurprisingly after he ended game one with the first ever World Series walk off grand slam, homered in each of the first four games, and tied the record for most runs driven in by a single player during a championship series.

The team will travel back to LA from New York to celebrate with fans during the annual championship parade on Friday.

Shaun White and Nina Dobrev are engaged after 5 years together.

The couple shared the big news on social media Wednesday posting photos from the elaborate moment when White got down on one knee and popped the question.

White and Dobrev first began dating in 2019 before later going public with their relationship in 2020.

The two reportedly moved in together at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and have been going strong ever since.
