Serbian protesters demand arrests after railway station canopy collapse killed 14
The concrete canopy that ran along the front of the railway station in the northern city of Novi Sad collapsed suddenly on Friday, landing on people who were sitting on benches or passing through the building’s entrance.
Demonstrators in Novi Sad, Serbia, protested on Tuesday the tragic collapse of a station awning that killed 15 people, calling for justice. They also demanded the release of activists and the resignation of Mayor Milan Đurić, making a loud protest for 15 minutes.
