Mufasa The Lion King Final Movie Trailer HD - Disney has unveiled exciting details about its upcoming film, MUFASA: THE LION KING.

This prequel to the iconic 1994 animated film will delve deeper into the legendary character of Mufasa, offering a fresh perspective on his journey.

Directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Barry Jenkins (Moonlight, If Beale Street Could Talk), the film will feature an all-star cast including Aaron Pierre, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Tiffany Boone, Kagiso Lediga, Preston Nyman, Mads Mikkelsen, Thandiwe Newton, Lennie James, Anika Noni Rose, Keith David, John Kani, Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner, Donald Glover, Blue Ivy Carter, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, Braelyn Rankins, Theo Somolu, Folake Olowofoyeku, Joanna Jones, Thuso Mbedu, Sheila Atim, Abdul Salis, and Dominique Jennings.

The story will be narrated by Rafiki, who recounts Mufasa’s tale to young Kiara.

The narrative will unfold through a series of flashbacks, introducing Mufasa as an orphaned cub who crosses paths with Taka, a young lion with royal lineage.

This chance encounter sets the stage for an epic adventure as a group of unlikely heroes come together to face danger and discover their true destinies.

MUFASA: THE LION KING is scheduled to hit theaters on December 20, 2024.
