OKC Cop on Paid Leave After Slamming Elderly Man, Leaving Him Hospitalized with Brain Bleed

In a disturbing incident that’s now under investigation, Oklahoma City Police Officer Joseph Gibson is seen on body camera footage violently throwing 70-year-old Lich Vu to the ground after a heated dispute over a traffic ticket.

Vu allegedly tapped the officer’s vest and said, "You shut up," before being slammed to the pavement.

The incident left Vu hospitalized with a brain bleed and fractured neck, requiring surgery and a feeding tube.

The officer is currently on paid administrative leave, and the case is being reviewed by the DA.
