Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg made a surprise appearance at Budapest Pride, turning the annual LGBTQ parade into a loud political statement against Viktor OrbĆ”nās right-wing government.
Speaking at the march, Thunberg accused the Hungarian leadership of trying to āban loveā and labeled the event a protest against what she called āfascistā attacks on human rights. Her presence quickly drew backlash.
