The new Opel Grandland Electric Design Preview
The completely new Opel Grandland Electric makes many visionary innovations from the groundbreaking Opel Experimental study a reality today - from the Opel lightning bolt illuminated for the first time at the front and the continuously illuminated OPEL lettering at the rear to innovative features such as the Intelli-Lux HD light with more than 50,000 LED elements and the practical pixel box in the interior to electromobility, which the new Grandland takes to the next level.
The newcomer is the first Opel model to be based on the STLA medium platform optimized for electric vehicles.
This means more space and comfort for the passengers, but above all battery-electric, locally emission-free ranges of up to around 700 kilometers in the future (WLTP3).
And Grandland Electric drivers can already cover up to 523 kilometers (with a 73 kWh battery, according to WLTP4) or 582 kilometers (with an 82 kWh battery, according to WLTP4), depending on the battery capacity, before only a short break is necessary with up to 160 kW of fast charging power.
And thanks to the 157 kW (213 hp) electric motor and 345 Newton meters of direct torque, the journey then continues just as quickly.
