Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has vowed to eliminate all "Takfiri jihadists" after rebel forces, led by jihadist groups, seized large parts of the northern city of Aleppo.
In a statement released on Saturday, Assad declared that Syria would continue to defend its territorial integrity and stability despite the ongoing attacks from these militant factions.
He expressed confidence that with the support of Syria’s allies, the government would defeat and dismantle the terrorist groups, no matter the intensity of their efforts.
