Violent clashes erupted outside Georgia's parliament in Tbilisi as protesters gathered for a third consecutive night to protest the government’s decision to delay European Union membership talks.
Demonstrators, accusing the government of electoral fraud in the recent parliamentary elections, clashed with riot police who responded with rubber bullets, tear gas, and water cannons.
Protesters threw fireworks and set up barricades, while flames were seen coming from a parliament window.
Over 100 people were arrested, and the opposition has condemned the government's alignment with Russia, accusing it of derailing Georgia’s EU aspirations.
