Man arrested on suspicion of rape at the Groucho Club
The Metropolitan Police have arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of raping a woman at the Groucho Club, the popular celebrity social club in Soho, London.
The private members' club also had its licence temporarily suspended earlier this week following a request by police.
Police stated there is no suggestion that employees of the venue were involved in the offence, which is understood to have occurred in November.
The man was arrested at an address in Hertfordshire on Saturday.
