Goo Goo Dolls frontman John Rzeznik hospitalized with pneumonia, band postpones South African tour dates.

The band went public with news of Rzeznik's condition in a social media post earlier today, sharing a clip of the singer directly addressing fans from his hospital bed.

In the video, Rzeznik apologizes for having to cancel the shows, which were set to take place this week in Cape Town, Durban, and Pretoria, saying 'I'm truly sorry that I cannot be there, but I wound up going to the doctor and I have pneumonia, and they checked me into the hospital.

I'm stuck here for a day or two.'

The postponed shows have all since been rescheduled for late March with all previously purchased tickets remaining valid for each new date.

Actor Ted Danson to be honored with Carol Burnett Award at 2025 Golden Globes.
