Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence was one of three speakers to present $1 million in college scholarships to high school students from underserved communities across Los Angeles.
Lawrence kicked off the scholarship's presentation, which were handed out to participants in THR's mentorship program, a partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles.

It seems that Paul Mescal is headed down Abbey Road. During a conversation at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles, Mescal's 'Gladiator II' director Ridley Scott let slip that the actor may have some scheduling conflicts for their next film collaboration. In a conversation with Christopher Nolan, the filmmaker Scott asked if Mescal is set to star in his upcoming thriller feature 'The Dog Stars.' Scott confirmed this as true before correcting himself and explaining that Mescal's schedule may prevent the 'Gladiator II' pair from reuniting on the new film. According to Scott, the actor is set to star in Sony Pictures' Beatles movies for director Sam Mendes.
