Krishna, the former External Affairs Minister and Chief Minister of Karnataka, passed away at the age of 92.
Krishna, who played a pivotal role in making Bengaluru a global IT hub, died at his Bengaluru residence around 2:45 am.
His contributions to both state and national politics were celebrated by leaders across the country, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah, and Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu.
Krishna's leadership in enhancing the state's infrastructure and IT sector left an indelible mark.
His passing has led to a three-day state mourning in Karnataka.
