Brussels avoids comment on Romania's cancelled election after shock judicial ruling
The shock ruling by Romania's Constitutional Court has been harshly criticised by the two candidates who made it to the second round, but not by the European Commission, which is avoiding comment on the matter.
Poland has urged its citizens to prepare for a potential war or crisis by stockpiling at least three days’ worth of essential supplies, including food, water, medicine, and power banks. This warning follows escalating tensions in Europe, as the European Commission pushes for an €800 billion military buildup amid concerns over Russia. Meanwhile, Poland has also announced plans to mine its borders with Belarus and Russia’s Kaliningrad exclave. As fears of a major conflict grow, Moscow has dismissed Western claims of an impending Russian attack as “complete nonsense.”
