Jamie Foxx receives stitches after getting hit in the mouth with a glass at his birthday dinner.

The actor required stitches after an altercation that took place while celebrating his 57th birthday on Friday in Beverly Hills.

According to officials, police were dispatched to Mr. Chow at around 10:10 p.m.

After learning of a reported assault with a deadly weapon.

"Jamie Foxx was at his birthday dinner when someone from another table threw a glass that hit him in the mouth.

He had to get stitches and is recovering," the spokesperson said.

Foxx took to Instagram to comment.

'The devil is busy...but I'm too blessed to be stressed...thank you to everybody that pray and check on me.'
