Police say teen stabbed to death on bus in London

A 14-year-old boy was fatally stabbed on a bus in Woolwich, south-east London, on Tuesday.

Police were called at 2:28 pm to Woolwich Church Road near the A205.

Despite treatment, the teenager died shortly after medics arrived.

No arrests have been made.

Deputy Commander Louise Sargent called it a "horrendous crime" and acknowledged local concerns.

The boy was on a route 472 bus near the Woolwich Ferry when the attack occurred.
