During the December hearing at Buckinghamshire Coroner's Court, Senior Coroner Crispin Butler noted that investigations into the circumstances of Payne's death are ongoing in Argentina and may take time to resolve through formal channels, including the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office.
