The Critics Choice Awards have been postponed amid the wildfires currently raging across Los Angeles. The show hosted by Chelsea Handler was set to take place in Santa Monica on Sunday and air live on E! The ceremony has set a new date of January 26th. Critics Choice Association CEO Joey Berlin said in a statement, "This unfolding tragedy has already had a profound impact on our community. All our thoughts and prayers are with those battling the devastating fires and with all who have been affected."

Hollywood stars like Mark Hamill, Eugene Levy and James Woods are among the people who have had to evacuate their homes amid the wildfires that are raging across parts of Los Angeles. Starting in Pacific Palisades, fires overnight also hit parts of Malibu and Santa Monica. According to the L.A. Fire Department, the Palisades fire was zero percent contained as of Wednesday morning. Three other active wildfires in L.A. County — the Eaton, Hurst and Woodley fires — are also currently at zero percent containment.
