The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) confirmed the death of an Indian man from Kerala, Binil TB, fighting in Ukraine with the Russian Army.
Another man, Jain TK, was injured.
The Indian government has demanded the repatriation of all nationals involved in the Russian military, with 63 others seeking discharge.
The MEA has engaged with Russian authorities for the return of the deceased’s body and the repatriation of the injured.
The Ministry extended condolences to the family and ensured assistance for the victims
