Senior UN officials discuss $3.32 billion humanitarian support package for Ukraine
Volodymyr Zelenskyy has engaged in a flurry of diplomatic activity in the run-up to Donald Trump’s inauguration next Monday, which is expected to bring a departure from the outgoing US administration’s pledge to stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes to defeat Russia.

On the visit he met his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy to sign a new agreement which sets out co-operation between the countries that will stretch into the next century. One pupil asked Starmer to reveal his favourite football player, to which the Arsenal fan replied that it was Martin Ødegaard and that his "all-time favourite Arsenal player is Thierry Henry".
