Actress Dame Joan Plowright dies aged 95
Award-winning British actress Dame Joan Plowright has died at the age of 95.
Dame Joan was one half of a theatrical power couple after marrying Lord Laurence Olivier in 1961.
A family statement said Dame Joan Plowright, the Lady Olivier, died peacefully on Thursday surrounded by her family at Denville Hall in London.
