The U.S. Supreme Court has upheld a law effectively subjecting TikTok to a national ban on Sunday.
The massively popular social media platform that is used by roughly half the country will be shut down, unless there's an 11th-hour lifeline from President-elect Donald Trump, who has said he can reach a deal to rescue the app.
The Hollywood Reporter spoke to TikTok creators and asked how they're feeling about the Supreme Court's decision.
In a 6–3 decision, the US Supreme Court has reinstated Donald Trump’s controversial ban on transgender individuals serving in the military. The ruling allows the Pentagon to discharge troops diagnosed with gender dysphoria and reject new enlistees unless they serve in their birth Sex and forego transitioning. This reversal follows Trump’s January executive order and strikes down protections restored during Biden's tenure. The policy has sparked outrage among LGBTQ+ advocates, reigniting debates on civil rights, military readiness, and the limits of executive power under the Constitution.

'A Minecraft Movie' is throwing some movie theaters into utter chaos! A TikTok-fueled viral trend is encouraging movie goers to trash the theater during screenings of the film. Videos have captured audiences throwing food and drink, and trashing auditoriums. In one video, somebody was kicked out for holding up a live chicken. Some theaters are issuing warnings, including "pre-show announcements" and that if the "situation escalates, local authorities can be called." Meanwhile, employees are getting pushed to their limits: "All of us cannot wait for this movie to be gone."
