Heathrow expansion crucial for economy, says Back Heathrow

Parmjit Dhanda, Executive Director of Back Heathrow, backed the proposed third runway ahead of Rachel Reeves' growth speech, calling it vital for the UK economy and local jobs.

He argued it would provide a £61 billion boost and help address stagnation.

Dhanda also stressed the project’s commitment to sustainability, including a plan to reduce carbon emissions by 80% through sustainable aviation fuel by 2050.
